The Dar al Quran Foundations Programme is an extended Islamic essentials course for school-aged students. The curriculum offers a practical grounding in faith and aims to instil a strong attachment to the Quran, the Sunna and the traditional etiquettes of Muslim culture.

Who is this for?
Children and young people between 5 and 18. Separate streams are available for each gender.
Sunday Programme
9:00 am to 12:30 pm · Every Sunday during the school term
New Zealand Islamic Cultural Centre · 60 Stoddard Road, Mt Roskill
After-School Programme
4:30 pm to 6:30 pm · Monday to Thursday during the school term

Learning extends beyond the classroom through daily tasks, cleaning, preparing and serving meals, peer leadership and stewardship.

Supporting the programme
Families enrolled in our programmes are encouraged to become regular supporters to help sustain Dar al Quran. The recommended donation is $50 per family per week. This is a donation model, not a barrier to learning.
Eligible donors may be able to claim a 33% tax credit on donations. Donation receipts are provided in April. Scholarships are available for families in need; please contact us to discuss support.
